Candle Care & Tips

To ensure quality, IKC candles are made of clean material with 100% natural soy wax and selected  phthalate-free oils. By understanding these simple care tips, you're ensuring a warm yet safe experience

How do I ensure the candle burns safely and lasts longer?

Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each use. This prevents excessive smoking and ensures a clean, even burn. On the first burn, let the candle melt to the edge of the container to prevent tunneling. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish your candle before leaving a room or going to sleep.

How do I store my IKC candles when not in use:

Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures. This helps to preserve the fragrance and prevent discoloration or melting. Keeping them covered, if possible, also helps protect them from dust and maintain their quality.

Why is it important to stop burning my candle when there's little wax left?

For safety, discontinue use when only 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container. Burning beyond this point can cause the container to overheat and potentially crack.

(We kindly care about your safety, a warm atmosphere is encouraged, burning the house down is not)

Care for a little light humor?

Why did the candle apply for a job?

It wanted to reach its wax potential.

What do candles say to cheer each other up?

You light up my life!
